Graphics Options

The Narrative Alive graphics are designed with careful thought about how they relate to the text. We've provided possible sermon themes for each graphic to help you choose the direction that best fits your sermon.
Life from Death
Option A
Life from Death
Sermon themes:
Jesus’ death is not symbolic, partial or accidental; it is certain, real and complete. Our salvation rests on the reality of a finished sacrifice.
The cross brings hidden faith into light. Crisis often reveals where our faith truly stands.
What looks like an ending is actually God preparing a beginning. Faith doesn’t end at the cross. God is still at work when all seems lost.
Just because God is silent doesn’t mean God is finished.

The word "LIFE" in this graphic is intentionally large, positioned as if it were coming up out of the words "from death." The movement of light and color suggests that, even in death, new life is emerging.
The Day of Preparation
Option B
The Day of Preparation
Sermon themes:
The religious leaders want the bodies removed so the Sabbath won’t be disturbed. After the crucifixion, the world is eager to move on and get life to being tidy again.
Holy moments often happen while the world is trying to sweep things up.
God’s greatest work is happening while others are focused on appearances and schedules.

The graphic symbolically portrays the tomb for which Joseph of Arimethia and Nicodemus prepared Jesus' body.
Wrapped in Love
Option C
Wrapped in Love
Sermon themes:
Jesus is buried with dignity, not disgrace. God has the final word over how his Son is remembered.
Through crucified like a criminal, Jesus is buried and honored like a king.
The detail of the amount of spices used reveal this burial is expensive and irreversible. True devotion doesn’t wait for outcomes.
Real faith loves Jesus even when hope seems buried.

The shape and movement of the color in the background of this graphic suggest the energy of love that was wrapped around Jesus.
