Graphics Options

The Narrative Alive graphics are designed with careful thought about how they relate to the text. We've provided possible sermon themes for each graphic to help you choose the direction that best fits your sermon.
Remember Me
Option A
Remember Me
Sermon themes:
Jesus provides specific instructions to carry out this ritual and meal beyond that night. The command to remember isn’t about nostalgia; it’s about encounter.
When Jesus is instructing us to remember, it means to bring the past into the present with power.
Jesus is not asking for perfect mental recall; instead, he is drawing us in for active participation.
When Jesus says, “Remember me,” he is inviting us to receive grace, re-center our lives, and re-commit to his way.

The graphic illustrates the cup overvflowing, permeating our entire lives.
Last Supper, Lasting Hope
Option B
Last Supper, Lasting Hope
Sermon themes:
Jesus doesn’t abandon the Passover ritual meal; instead, he fulfills it, and the meal marks a pivotal moment of transition from Passover to Promise.
This meal is Jesus’ farewell to his inner circle, and it’s full of hope. Jesus doesn’t wait for his disciples to understand or be faithful; he invites them anyway.
Jesus’ body is broken so our brokenness doesn’t have the final word.
Communion centers us on a Person, not just a moment.

The darkness of the clouds in the graphic aren't the whole picture. The sun is also about to rise above them.
Simple Table, Sacred Symbols
Option C
Simple Table, Sacred Symbols
Sermon themes:
At the Table, Jesus’ brokenness becomes our wholeness. The cup declares forgiveness is finished, not earned.
Jesus takes two earthly, ordinary symbols associated with Passover (bread and wine) and gives fresh, life-giving meaning to remember Jesus’ sacrifice.
At this Communion Table, these sacred symbols reconnect us to the living Christ: present, faithful, and near.
The Table isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence.

The abstract shapes in this graphic represent the bread and the table, with the chalice emerging front and center as a important symbol.
