Graphics Options

The Narrative Alive graphics are designed with careful thought about how they relate to the text. We've provided possible sermon themes for each graphic to help you choose the direction that best fits your sermon.
Come and See
Option A
Come and See
Sermon themes:
John points his disciples to Jesus. When they ask where Jesus is staying, Jesus replies, “Come and see.” Faith is not just hearing and talking about Jesus, but experiencing Jesus for yourself.
True discipleship starts with curiosity and naturally leads to communion. Communion with Jesus, self, and the saints.
Faith that begins with “Come and See” leads us to a life of faith, newness, and transformation.
Graphic description:
The words “Come & See” echo Jesus’ invitation to the disciples to see where he was staying. But the words have a much deeper spiritual meaning, represented by the open portal. The stairs leading up to the portal come from all directions, and the entry is open. There is no door. This suggests that ALL are invited to come in.
What Are You Looking For?
Option B
What Are You Looking For?
Sermon themes:
Nathanael comes to Jesus skeptical, but Jesus doesn’t condemn or criticize. Instead, Jesus welcomes Nathanael and asks a question that confronts his heart. Encountering Jesus opens our eyes—to who Jesus is and to who we are to him.
This isn’t a question of curiosity but of spiritual alignment. Discipleship begins when we let Jesus redirect our search toward himself.
People pursue success, status, and comfort. But Jesus invites us to examine our deepest longings and desires.

The hazy background of this graphic reflects the disciples' questioning—and ours as well. Who is this Jesus? The focal point in the graphic, magnifying one spot, reflects Jesus’ message to look more closely, to see him through the lens of faith.
Wowed by Jesus
Option A
Wowed by Jesus
Sermon themes:
When we’ve encountered Christ, we can’t keep it to ourselves. Witnessing is inviting others to encounter what we have experienced.
Andrew and Simons’ lives are changed forever. Their encounter with Jesus leads to immediate and lasting transformation. The same is true for us. When we encounter and experience Jesus, our names, nature, and purpose are transformed, just as Simon became Peter.
“We have found him…” This is a witness overflowing with hope. When Jesus fulfills our search, our lives become a testimony drawing others to come and see Jesus. too.
Graphic description:
One commentator (Ruiz) highlights that the disciples’ encounters with Jesus were such transformative experiences, they went out to tell others. Just as we do when we’re “wowed” by something; we want to tell someone else! The graphic symbolically portrays these encounters as two color coming together, sending out energy in every direction.
